Market

The market is the age-old place for people to gather and to look at things, to buy and sell. These works combine aspects of the ancient and the modern: pre-industrial trading and present-day consumerism; handmade objects and standardisation; the natural and the artificial. The works also consider notions of art and display: trivia finding worth through being exhibited whilst other objects may be trivialised or misinterpreted.
